We searched for the record jackpots of the most popular lotteries. True to the motto “Bigger is Better” , the US leads the record list of the highest lottery winnings ever. But also Europe does not need to hide with record profits in nine-digit height.

The biggest jackpot in the German lottery history was 45,382,458 euros and was cracked on 5 December 2007. The European record is set by the multi-country lottery EuroMillions. A couple from England cracked the gigantic jackpot of 190 million euros on 10 August 2012.
