2019 Chevrolet Camaro Built and Performance

In the segment of a sports car, we get to see some model names that are adorned by car lovers across the globe. Among them, some rise to fame more quickly than others can, but only a few can stick to that and can build lifelong trust from its users. The 2019 Chevrolet Camaro is such a sports car model that has outperformed most of its rivals in a much lesser price.

Based on the same architecture to that of Cadillac, the 2019 Camaro will appear to you as light while being nimble. The lineup can boast of a wide range of powertrain options that can both be perky as well as thunderous. As a sports car, it has to achieve a certain level of driving performance, but in the case of the 2019 Chevrolet Camaro, the level gets pretty higher than we could have imagined.

Hence the 2019 Camaro from Chevrolet took no time to become popular for its nimble handling, irresistible power, most appealing style, and its array of latest features. But what has won the trust of people from all corners of the world is it’s built and performance that speaks of its endurance capacity, found rare in its segment.

Strong Built

At the Smelterville Chevy dealer we got to know that for 2019, Chevrolet has made some design changes for its flagship model Camaro that includes three new variety of exterior styling at the front end and this is based on the trim level you choose. At the rear end, you get a new fascia, with improved taillights, while there are also some new elements observed in the wheel designs. But at the same time, Chevrolet has not withdrawn its old retro-inspired design that comes with a top-notch look because of the higher than usual beltline, and a couple of wide haunches that underline it drives better as a rear-drive vehicle.

The introduction of the 1LE handling package for the 2019 year model is applied on the turbo-4 powered Camaro trim, and all other engines. A new 10-speed automatic transmission is paired to the base V-8 engine, that also receives a new rear camera mirror and drives assistance feature like a forward-collision warning.

Stellar Performance

All the Camaro trim models are fast to drive, maintaining the character of a sports car, and they leave it on you,  how fast you can drive. The turbo-4 engine powered trim can speed to 60 mph from a 0 in just 5.4 seconds, while the V-6 models do the same in 5.0 seconds. The base V-8 is still faster and can raise its speed in merely 4.0 seconds, but if you are crazy for speed, we recommend you to go for the  ZL1 that records the same speed in 3.5 seconds.

Known as a muscle car or still better a pony car, the 2019 year model of Chevrolet Camaro proved its handling prowess perfectly as a sports car, when we took a test drive at the Chevrolet Smelterville dealership. The entire lineup offered a peppy and punchy acceleration, slaying down the racetracks with their lap times unmatched by any of its rivals.
