Entrepreneurship In Pakistan!
Something called entrepreneurship is what we have been hearing for quite a long time. The economists see this word a permutation of innovation, hard work and risk taking. When talented people start doing these activities progress is achieved and number of opportunities are being offered to all fragments of society even the poor reap the benefits and prospects. The low class grows and flourishes through employment also they tend to get various opportunities for entrepreneurship. What good it is and how wonderful would that be.
The scenario in Pakistan is pretty inhibited because of insensitive role of the government in the marketplace; making it difficult for almost everyone. Ever since the planning starts to make up almost all the subsidy policies and protection rules resolute leaders in the very market place and that way entrepreneurship averted as it needs government courtesies.
On the other hand the economic policies in Pakistan also thrives to grow with the help of a basic “mercantilist” methodology in which the domestic business through seriously neglect is immensely controlled. Through this tactic poor are made powerful and they are given opportunities for entrepreneurship or they are given employment and that is a total win-win situation. Thus it is essential to deregulate this part of your country and create appropriate strategies for the poor segment. This is a way to better Pakistan. This is a way to progressive Pakistan. Another dilemma is land distribution, city zoning and management…it also needs serious attention. Cities are not made to create a cluster of commerce but entrepreneur friendly so that both way we get benefits without any disturbance in the society overall. Accurate regulatory system will allow the poor to get more chances of employment and countless opportunities.
If we would like our generation and the generations to come to grow in a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan then we must stand for the right thing altogether. Change in the society can only be brought if we stand united. First and foremost the lows and policies promoting rent seeking should be dismantled and news laws should be introduced to develop an entrepreneurship culture. I know it way to heavy demands but it is the only way to a successful Pakistan. We have talent, we have manpower, we innovate, we thrive intensely…what we need are right kind of legislative changes.
Undertaking of right kinds of reforms will make it easier for a common man to think further than just their basic needs. 5 years back a GEM report stated that “most entrepreneurial activity is necessity-driven (those with no other option for work); the level of opportunity-motivated entrepreneurship is much lower.”
It is being believed that in developing countries the businesses take their start informally but eventually tend to turn into more formal sectors of the country’s economy. Regardless of the fact that we require strong economy o stand out in the world, it is a notion that entrepreneurs are more necessity driven. Don’t get confused let me explain this…it means that people start businesses because they do not get a stable job on their side. Therefore in vain they turn to entrepreneurship but a sad part is that in this case they do not make much progress they do not depend upon their own abilities to grab opportunities presented in front of them. For the reason it is important to formal businesses should be established more on the basis of opportunity by the folks who really want to pursue their passions and ambitions and want to take it to next level. The productive ones rely on the market space enticing them with new and latest opportunities. Let only be productive and contribute our part to beloved land!
