HAPPY FACE USING CETAPHIL GENTLE SKIN CLEANSER

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

Pros: use with or without water, fragrance free, won’t disturb skin pH balance, does not cause acne
Cons: more expensive than bar soap – but worth it to me
I have been using Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser for years. It started with a problem area on my face that required a gentle skin cleanser, and I’ve been using Cetaphil ever since.
Description
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser comes in a 4, 8, or 16 fluid ounce plastic bottle. There is a pump dispenser on the top. Cetaphil is fragrance-free and is designed not to clog skin pores (meaning it won’t cause acne). The manufacturer says this cleanser won’t disturb skin pH balance, and it is for all skin types.
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanse is suggested for daily makeup removal. It is recommended for people with acne, rosacea, or eczema. Plus, this cleaner does not strip the skin of its natural protective oils or emollients.

A unique feature of this product is that it can be used with or without water. The manufacturer recommends this cleanser for babies, teens and adults.
My Experiences
My skin is extremely happy that I am using Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser. When I first started using it on my problem area (near my nose) it worked very quickly to eliminate the breakout issue. It only takes a small squirt of this product, too. I always use it with water. Splashing my face with water, I use the pump dispenser to pop out a small bit of cleanser, and work it in my hands before applying the cleaner to my face. This particular cleaner does not generate much lather, but I’m fine with that.

My sensitive sniffer is happy as well since this product has no fragrance that I can detect. Once my face is washed with the Cetaphil, I rinse with water and blot my face dry with a towel. Cetaphil leaves no residue on my skin, and my skin never feels tight or too dry. (My regular morning routine also includes moisturizer after my face is clean.)
I wash my face with the Cetaphil in the morning and at night. If I’ve been tackling dust bunnies or other dirty tasks, I will wash my face during mid-day. I buy the 16-ounce bottle, and it lasts me a long time.
