Galaxy Note 9 VS iPhone 9, An Odd Comparison
What happens when two giants go head to head. This comparison between the iPhone 9 and the Galaxy Note 9 sounds odd but it’s an interesting comparison and in the process let’s get to know these new flagships from Samsung and Apple.
The Note 9 will be the bigger of the devices, scaling in at 6.3 inches for the screen size, coming in a completely curved package, and 2K resolution with that same stretched aspect ratio. iPhone 9, on the other hand, will be much more conservative, coming in at 5.2 inches for the screen size, with a slightly modified design, no bezel-less magic here, and with a 1080p resolution.
The iPhone will also retain the force touch fingerprint sensor on the home button, but the Note 9 has rumors pointing either back or an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The cameras on both phones will be more than ideal for day to day use with the Galaxy Note 9 pulling ahead with a dual 16 Megapixel sensor, f/1.7 aperture, and OIS. iPhone 9 again takes the 12 Megapixel sensor from the iPhone 8, with new features, f/1.8 aperture, and OIS.
Snapdragon 855 will be an upgrade on the Note 9, paired with 6GB or 8GB RAM with multiple storage options to go along. Apple will bring a new A12 series chip for the iPhone 9, with 3GB of RAM and multiple storage options like Samsung.
Both phones being powerhouses and packed full of features will also come at a premium with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 starting at $799 and iPhone 9 at $649.
