Love at First Touch
Let’s get the obvious out of the way people! The HTC One is one damn fine looking device, especially when it’s utilizing a sturdy metallic casing. Going with a metal uni-body design, which HTC details specifically as a zero-gap aluminum body, our hands can’t stop falling in love with the sturdy feel. In comparison to other recent things, the only thing close to this design that we can remember, was the HTC One S from last year – though, the sheer magnitude of the HTC One blows it away. Even more impressive is the fact that HTC is able to keep this one equally skinny amongst the masses with its uniform profile of 9.3mm thin (0.36 inches), while being lightweight at the same time. Combining those things with its impeccable construction, the HTC One is simply one gorgeous thing that’s a head turner any way we look at it.
Marvelous Specifications
Next let’s talk about what is under the aluminum body. Inside the body is a Quad core processor that is marked at 1.7 GHZ. This is aided by an Adreno 320 GPU, which is not only good but is great for gamers that like to play on their cell phones. When it comes to the camera, it is a 4 MP camera with a single LED flash. IT also has a secondary camera which marks at around 2 MP. Many might wonder why HTC would choose to bless their flagship device with a 4 MP camera. Well, in reality, it is a 4 MP camera. But, it is not a 4 MP camera at the same time. You see, it cannot be measured in MPs as it is a camera based on Ultra pixels. Whatever the case might be, the camera is great and is beyond a person’s imagination.
Astounding Features
When we talk about connectivity, there is GSM, 3G, 4G, LTE and NFC. There is a 2GB RAM and a considerable amount of ROM in the latter. In addition, it has 32 GB of minimum built in memory. When we talk about the software, it has Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box. An update for the HTC One, also known as the HTC M7 for Android 4.2 will be rolling out later in April. To top it all off, it also has the latest version of the Sense UI, which is also the signature UI of HTC.
